Description

It's time for another New Moon chapter-by-chapter recap right now. Chapter 5. Cheater Doesn't sound like a good way to start off, but we dive right into Bella working at Newton's. It's a slow day, and Mike tells Bella she can take off for the afternoon... everything is in her face and noticeable, as if cotton had been taken out of her ear, as Bella describes. Interestingly, the backpacking customers are telling stories about the giant black bears - hmm, is he really talking about bears or something else? Even though she says she doesn't mind staying, Mike insists that he's closing the store so she heads out into the rain, which makes her realize she doesn't want to return to Charlie's place, especially since she had a very bad version of her normal nightmares.
