Description

Welcome back to Clevver Games everyone I'm Andrea Rene here with news from Electronic Arts. There has been speculation for some time that Crysis would be coming to consoles. The game originally launched for PC back in 2007 and now will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network next month. . The game is a sci-fi first person shooter developed by Crytek that revolves around a group of military badasses who where nanosuits. If you played Crysis 2 earlier this year you'll know all about the story but for those who didn't it started with the original Crysis. You'll face off against North Korean soldiers, mercenaries, and ultimately, aliens known as the Ceph who have recently been awakened on Earth. . The campaign story will remain intake but the game itself will be remastered for consoles with new lighting effects, optimized controls, and stereoscopic 3D support for both the 360 and PS3. There is no confirmation on pricing or an exact release date but the launch of this game fits into a growing trend of re-releasing older games on different platforms. . What do you guys think? Did you play the original Crysis on PC? Do you think it will hold up well as a port? Do you like how many publishers are bringing back old titles and remastering them? Let me know in a comment below. You'll be able to purchase Crysis for $19.99 or 1600 Microsoft points in October. For more gaming news and headlines make sure to subscribe to Clevver Games for all the latest updates. I'm Andrea Rene and thanks for watching.
