Ariana Grande Called Nickelodeon For Her Job

Well, the Nickelodeon star knew that she was meant to be on the popular network before it even happened... way before it happened. In fact, Ariana said that she actually called Nick to tell them she wanted to be a star at just 4 years old!! She said QUOTE 'I dialed directory assistance (411) and asked them to direct me to Nickelodeon. They connected me, and I told the lady on the phone that I wanted to star on All That and I remember the lady telling me, 'Honey, you need an agent! You need to grow up first!'' Glee Makes 2012 Guinness Book Of World Records

Glee won a world record for the most hit singles worldwide. To break it down, during the 2011 calendar year, the music-friendly song earned 48 top spots, specifically in the UK Top 75. In fact, Gleeks helped it garner 45 hit singles just the year before. And since music is a popular category for the Guinness Book, we can add in that Rihanna became the first female artist to get UK number-1 singles for 5 consecutive years. Plus the Black Eyed Peas earned the biggest-selling download in the UK, with "I Gotta Feeling" racking up more than 1-million downloads. So congratulations to all of the world record setters to be included in the 2012 book. Let us know if you think Glee will get even more hit singles for next year's record book. Breaking Details From The X Factor USA Premiere

The X Factor is going to be an absolutely huge hit and it is going to completely dominate in the ratings. The show boasts a judging panel that includes American Idol's favorite former duo Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul, as well as solo artist Nicole Scherzinger, music mogul and industry icon LA Reid, and British hottie host Steve Jones -- who is likely to rank number one on every sexiest list within the next year. Here's a bit of breaking info -- contrary to popular belief, one time judge Cheryl Cole will still appear in at least the first episode as a judge. Her reasons for leaving aren't really addressed, but she still does a fantastic job. So how does it seem this show will differ from American Idol? Well aside from the obvious difference, which is the fact that groups can also compete on the X Factor, we are very excited about seeing very young talent on the show. Simon even told one contestant and obvious front-runner Stacy that she had one of the best auditions he's ever seen. To sum it up, this show looks huge, watches like a big-budget action movie at times, will inspire you, and I think viewer will be hysterically crying in the first few minutes of X Factor. 'Underworld: Awakening' To Be Released In Imax 3D

IMAX Corporation and Sony Pictures Entertainment have just announced that Underworld: Awakening, the fourth installment in the popular supernatural-action franchise will be released to IMAX digital theatres simultaneously with the film's worldwide release Jan. 20, 2012 Rory Bruer, pres of wordwide distribution for sony was adiment about the importance of imax for this flick. He said, "Underworld is one of Screen Gems' most important franchises, so it's important to us to present the movie as its fans want to see it: on the IMAX screen," If you aren't familiar with the plot, Underworld: Awakening brings a stunning new dimension to the epic battle between Vampires and Lycans. Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.
