2010 Rolls Royce Ghost
Looking virtually identical to the 200EX Concept, which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show, the Ghost blends classic Rolls Royce design themes with modern style. The front end is dominated by a large sloping grille, which is meant to resemble a jet intake, and slim Xenon headlights. Moving further back, the profile reveals massive rearview mirrors, suicide doors (coach doors in RR speak), and a subtle lower character line. At the rear, there are LED taillights, optional chrome exhaust tips, and hints of a "Bangle butt" (although it was designed by Ian Cameron). For maximum street presence, a contrasting Silver Satin paint finish can be applied to the hood, grille and windscreen surround.

2222 Toothpicks in my Beard
After watching Beardpick put 2000 toothpicks in his beard, I just had to try it. Of course I had to put more in so I went to 2222. I was going to go for 3000 but 2222 was a better number to me. That just means I can go back and go higher if I do it again! - I picked 2222 because it was a cool number to stop at and just fun to say! - We know it was 2222 because each box has 1000, we used two boxes, then counted out 222 from the 3rd box. Alice in Wonderland Movie Photos
Early still photos have emerged for the upcoming Tim Burton film Alice in Wonderland, and they're as garish, as fantastic, and as vaguely frightening as you would expect. Featuring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, this is due out in theatres March of 2010. Depp is a chillingly convincing Mad Hatter who manages to project insanity, not so big a stretch from his days as Jack Sparrow. Carter meanwhile shows the full range of haughty, arrogant grandeur as the Red Queen. Anne Hathaway's vast experience playing pure characters lends well to her portrayal of the White Queen, but the wild card in this is newcomer Mia Wasikowska, who's playing Alice. Though she looks like she fits the part well, it'll remain to be seen if she can carry it all the way. So what do you think? Does Depp give you cold chills too? To answer one of the most common questions (What pedal should I use without paying hundreds for a kick trigger?), for the money, I recommend the "Destroyer Pedal", which gives zero double-hits, it's metal, and it's great for using heel-toe with. Do you play real drums too? Yes, I do. I've been playing drums for a little over 5 years now, focusing mainly on trap set, with some limited hand percussion experience as well. Before I learned to play real drums, though, I also played Drummania, a drum simulation game made by Konami and part of the Bemani family of music games. It really got me interested in drums, I highly recommend it if you can find a machine near you. 2. What do you use to play Rock Band? Is your kit modded or something? The Roland TD-6 SX-T that I use goes for around $2000 on Musician's Friend, probably cheaper if you look on ebay or Craig's List. 4. Wow, that's a lot of money. You really spent $2k just to play Rock Band? Nope, I bought the Roland kit months before Rock Band came out to do some recording and session work. I also badly needed a quieter way to practice drums in my apartment; an acoustic kit with silencers just wasn't cutting it. It was just very good fortune that I already had the kit when people began discovering how to hook up MIDI kits to Rock Band. 5. Ok, but isn't that kind of cheating? (UPDATED) I suppose everyone will form their own opinions about this subject no matter what, but the official word right now is that it is not cheating. Posts on both ScoreHero and the Rock Band forums have been made about this mod, and both the ScoreHero mods, rockband.com mods, and Harmonix staff have ruled that this type of kit does not invalidate competitive scores. They have, in the past, ruled that any sort of double-bass pedal mod would invalidate such scores. However, since the release of the Guitar Hero: World Tour drum kit, it has become possible to use two stock bass pedals without any further modification besides a simple Y-splitter, and the kit can be used for World Tour and both Rock Band games. Accordingly, Scorehero now considers double-bass pedals legal and acceptable for competitive scores. For this video, I used a double-pedal for certain sections. 6. What do you use to record your videos? For the direct-capture I use an Adaptec Gamebridge. You can get them from Amazon.com for between $30-$50 USD. For the external view I use an older Sony Handycam. (It still records on Digital-8s...) 7. Why do you usually only hit the bass pedal during the Big Rock Ending? Doesn't that get you less points? Its seat/head restraints earned the second highest rating of acceptable for protection against whiplash in rear impacts. Smart Fortwo is classified a microcar, meaning it's smaller even than minicars. Weighing about 1,800 pounds, the Smart is more than 3 feet shorter and almost 700 pounds lighter than a Mini Cooper.
